WORLD CUP winner David Trezeguet has been accused of telling police "you are losers, motherf**ers" after the Juventus legend was caught drink-driving.
Trezeguet allegedly took a sharp turn to avoid a passer-by as he drove at "high speed" before he was said to verbally abuse Turin cops when he initially refused to take a breathalyser test.
After the 41-year-old was eventually tested, he was found to be over the legal alcohol limit, so he was cautioned and had his driven licence taken away.
Italian outlet Il Fatto quotidiano say the saga began as the France 1998 hero drove home from a dinner.
When police stopped Trezeguet, a friend reportedly told him: "Throw yourself on the ground and pretend you're sick, so the ambulance arrives and do nothing to you."
He at first declined to be breathalysed but officers refused to wait.
Trezeguet then allegedly shouted at them: "Poor people, you don't even earn 2000 Euros."
And after finally doing the first alcohol test he was said to have added: "You are losers, motherf***ers."
Trezeguet is Juventus' top scorer ever for non-Italians, with 171 goals from 2000-2010.
He was also a spearhead as France won the 1998 World Cup and Euro 2000, finishing with 34 goals from 71 internationals.
After exiting Juve nine years ago, he played for Spanish minnows Hercules and UAE side.
Trezeguet then spent two years in Argentina with famous clubs River Plate and Newell's Old Boys.
And he retired from playing 2014 after a brief stint with Indian team Pune City.
