Soccer star Megan Rapinoe can now get her kicks as a published author. 

Penguin Press on Thursday announced a book deal with the outspoken co-captain of the U.S. Women's National Team, with the currently untitled work due out in Fall 2020. The publisher says the book will offer an "honest, thoughtful, unapologetic" look through Rapinoe's eyes at subjects ranging from soccer to nationalism to gay rights. 

Rapinoe became one of the most visible members of the U.S. team this summer, sparring with President Donald Trump on social media as the Americans rolled to the Women's World Cup title in France.
