UNAI EMERY has been accused of wreaking confusion on Arsenal by refusing to adapt his tactics – and topping it all off with "disaster" buy David Luiz.
Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher says Emery is only a "Europa League level" boss, with the Gunners a tame eighth amid links to sacked Spurs chief Mauricio Pochettino and ex-Juventus manager Max Allegri.
Carra dreads to think where Arsenal would be without "two top strikers" in Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Alexandre Lacazette.
And he told Sky Sports' Monday Night Football: "Unai Emery hasn’t adapted, he’s created confusion
"Confusion in the crowd, confusion with his players and confusion for himself.
"I think Emery isn’t Champions League level, he’s Europa League level."
Carragher believes Saturday's fortuitous 2-2 home draw with Southampton highlighted the Gunners' problems.
He said: "I think in some ways it almost sums up the 18 months of Emery at Arsenal, really.
