ENGLAND are aiming to maintain their perfect Euro 2024 qualifying record when they visit Ukraine later this evening.

His Eagles team-mate Eberechi Eze also has a starting chance and Southgate could be keen to see more of the 25-year-old in an England shirt since he only has one cap to his name.

Marcus Rashford and Phil Foden will both by vying for a start too but whatever side Southgate picks, England have several dangermen to come off the bench.

Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah could be one of those – the youngster has been called up to the England squad for the first time along with Chelsea defender Colwill, both of whom could make their debuts.

    ZIN IT TO WIN IT

A host of Ukraine supporters are already inside the ground.

There are believed to be around 300,000 Ukrainians living in the Wroclaw region now following Russia’s invasion of their homeland last year.

And Arsenal’s Ukrainian full-back Oleksandr Zinchenko spoke pre-match about how he hopes to see a sea of blue and yellow when they take on England.

He said: “I know some friends living here since the invasion and the feedback is that Polish people are helping as much as they can.

“I'm expecting a full stadium of blue and yellow because I know a lot of Ukrainians are living here, of course it will be an amazing atmosphere and I'm expecting a good game as well, both teams play good football.

“It is impossible to say that it is going to be the same atmosphere as when we play in Ukraine, because when you play in Ukraine even the air is different.

“I can't wait until this time we will be (back playing in Ukraine) because all of us are just dreaming about it.”
