Tottenham need to figure out ‘who we want to be’ after missing out on Europe, interim boss Ryan Mason says.

Spurs emphatically won their final game of the season 4-1 and relegated Leeds, but were pipped to a Europa Conference League spot by Aston Villa.

“We probably need to understand where we want to go, who we want to be – that’s the most important thing,” Mason said after a disappointing season.

Tottenham finished eighth in the Premier League and the search for a new manager will continue over the summer.
