Shortly after the conclusion of UFC 256: Figueiredo vs. Moreno, the UFC capped its final major event of 2020 with a look at UFC 257: Poirier vs. McGregor 2. The mixed martial arts promotion released an official trailer for the second matchup between the two that is set to kick-off the new year.

Following months of rumors, UFC 257 is set to see “The Notorious” Conor McGregor and Dustin “The Diamond” Poirier face off once again. Back in 2014, the MMA stars met in Las Vegas following heavy back and forth in a match that would see McGregor best the American Lightweight fighter. In the time after their bout, McGregor secured both the UFC Featherweight and Lightweight Championships while Poirier landed the Interim UFC Lightweight Champion title and has steadily remained as a challenger in the contentious division.
