FIRST IN LINE (4.30 Newmarket, nap) can lead them all home.

He was a bit too free when third here last time but that was understandable after a long break. Frankie blew away the cobwebs with that effort and he looks hard to beat.

Davydenko looked rusty at HQ on return but landed four wins last term and is open to improvement.

3.20 NEWMARKET

BUHTURI caught the eye with a close second at Haydock earlier this month. A 4lb rise in the weights is fair, he likes the trip and has more to come.

Ascension looks the threat after a good comeback third at Sandown. He wasn’t helped by missing the kick and the drop in trip looks a wise move.
