TOTTENHAM are trying to nab Fulham’s rising star Steven Sessegnon – less than a month after signing his twin brother.

Spurs have already failed with one ‘derisory’ offer of £3 million as part of a cheeky double deal when they agreed to pay £25m for Ryan Sessegnon last month.

That bid was instantly rebuffed but Fulham chiefs fear Spurs won’t be deterred and will be back in again soon for the teenager who is proving every bit as talented as their latest acquisition.

Steven Sessegnon has been called up to the England Under-21 squad who play Turkey and Kosovo between now and next Monday.

He has also started four of Fulham’s six Championship games and is playing a key role in the club’s bid for instant promotion back to the Premier League.

Steven Sessegnon signed a contract with Fulham in 2017 until 2022 and the club has the option to extend that by a further 12 months.

RYAN IS STEVEN'S INSPIRATION

He can play at full back, centre half and in midfield which is why he is so highly-regarded.

Brother Ryan was trailed by Spurs for years, who finally got their man just days before the current season started and paid £25 million up front.

Both boys came through the Fulham academy and Steven insists he uses his twin’s success as inspiration for his own career.

He said: "I use Ryan's career at Fulham to push me on and try and make me do better.

“Being able to support Ryan on the journey he has had has been brilliant.

"Looking back on it so far he really did a lot for the club and you can only be thankful for that, and use it as motivation to go on and try and do more.”
