GOOD EVENING
Welcome to our live blog of Sheffield United vs Fulham.
The Premier League’s bottom two sides face off at Bramall Lane this afternoon, and start the game as two of the three sides, along with Burnley, yet to win a league game this season.
Sheffield United have failed to kick on as of yet after an impressive first season back in the top flight, and like Fulham, have lost their opening four fixtures.
Blades fans will be hoping club record signing Rhian Brewster can fire them up the table after a lack of goals this season, with the 20-year-old striker set to make his debut today.
David McGoldrick’s goal against Arsenal two weeks ago is the only league goal Sheffield United have mustered so far this season.
Meanwhile Fulham’s already leaky defence has been dealt an injury blow, after new signing Joachim Andersen picked up an ankle injury in training.
It is expected that the Danish centre back could be out of action for a number of weeks.
The two sides last faced each other in the Championship during the 2017/18 season, with Fulham doing the double over the Blades en route to play off final victory at Wembley.
One of the games included a 4-5 thriller at Bramall Lane in November 2017, with Ryan Sessesgnon bagging a hat-trick for the visitors.
Kick off today is at 12pm, with team news to follow shortly.
