RUSSIAN ice hockey stars have stripped off and bared all for a naked 2020 calendar leaving their supporters stunned.

A host of different athletes from seven different clubs in the Russian Women’s Hockey League got their kit off where they posed in themes depicting the different seasons.

According to local media, the Russian Women’s Hockey League wanted to show the tender side of their players.

They uploaded a number of snaps on Instagram to their followers, captioning the post: "You have all been waiting for this!

"The most beautiful, feminine and tender calendar."

One of those to feature in the calendar was HC Tornado ace Alyona Starovoytova, 20, who can be seen lying on a field covered in flowers.

Her team-mate Nina Pirogova,20, is pictured surrounded by sunflowers, with another team-mate Elizaveta Konadkova covered in white flowers.

Fans couldn't get enough of the pictures, with many showing their support for the calendar.

One user commented: "So pretty and there is a certain style to it. Good job, ladies!"
