Is Rob Gronkowski James Bond’s newest adversary?
Twitter seems to think so after the former Patriots tight end ditched the suit and tie for a black turtleneck and sport coat during Sunday’s NFL on Fox broadcast, resulting in endless ridicule from fashion critics.
“Why is Gronk dressed like a Russian hitman,” Christian Arcand of “The Adam Jones Show” penned.
“Gronk, wear a turtleneck if you’re being held hostage,” Doug Kyed of NESN wrote.
“Gronk looks like your coworker’s significant other who traps you at the bar at the holiday party and won’t stop talking about his ‘business’ plan,” Alex Gelhar of 4for4Football posted.
“If you gave Gronk an eye patch he could be Dr. Evil’s right hand man,” another viewer commented, referencing “Austin Powers” foe, Number Two.
This isn’t the first time a Patriot has been outfit-shamed. In 2018, Gronkowski’s pal and former teammate, Tom Brady, was roasted over his Met Gala ensemble.
