NASCAR star Justin Allgaier was rushed to hospital following a nasty crash at the Kentucky Motor Speedway.
The 34-year-old smashed into the wall at speed after a collision with Ronnie Bassett Jr.
The horror multi-car crash happened during the final lap of Thursday's NASCAR Xfinity Series race.
Chaos erupted when Allgaier's red No7 Chevrolet hit into the back ofBassett's No90 Chevrolet.
American veteran Allgaier smashed into the wall as his rivals continued to race past him.
Bassett skidded across the width of the track before he slammed nose-first into the inside wall.
Timmy Hill, driving the No61 Toyota, collided with Bassett's spinning car in the aftermath.
NASCAR Xfinity confirmed shared footage of the crash to their Twitter page.
It was confirmed that Bassett was able to get out of his car "under his own power".
An update from the official then read: "The drivers of the Nos. 61 and 90 have been evaluated and released from the infield care center.
"The driver of the No7 has been transported to the hospital for further evaluation."
After the incident, one fan on Twitter said: "Hope we get good news on Justin Allgaier soon."
Another added: "Justin Allgaier has been taken to the hospital after his crash. I hope he's ok!"
The incident happened just days after a NASCAR pit-crew member was brutally run over during the Brickyard 400.
