OLE GUNNAR SOLSKJAER has handed Manchester United striker Marcus Rashford a 20-goal target this season.
The England star went into the new campaign as United’s main forward, and scored against Chelsea on Sunday.
However, the 21-year-old has never netted more than 14 goals across all competitions in a year.
Red Devils boss Solskjaer has set him the tally after talks with the academy product last week.
The United legend has been working with the young striker all summer on his movement in and around the box.
And it looked to be working at the weekend as Rashford ran Frank Lampard’s side ragged at the back.
An Old Trafford source said: “Ole sat down with Marcus last week. It was all very positive.
“It was for about half an hour for a chat about some of the things he wants to see more from him.
“Ole will be helping him more with his movement inside the penalty area and to play a little closer to goal.
“He has been too reliant on the ball over the top but will now expect more slide passing down the side of the two centre halves.”
It is understood Rashford has shown a different attitude since returning for pre-season in the wake of Romelu Lukaku’s move away.
He is expected to fill the forward positions with Anthony Martial, Alexis Sanchez and Mason Greenwood.
