PAUL POGBA showed off his post-match recovery session following Sunday's 2-1 victory over Chelsea… using the "PureFlow" system.

The French star, 24, started and played full 90 minutes in the 2-1 victory having been in-and-out of the team lately due to poor form.

Rumours of a bust-up between Pogba and boss Jose Mourinho has seen the likes of Real Madrid consider making a cut-price swoop for the former Juventus man.

However, the Special One put all personal difference aside as he gave the nod to Pogba for the win against his former club – and rivals for second place in the Premier League.

After the game, Pogba took to Instagram to show off his extreme recovery methods.

As well as the usual warm-down exercises and stretches, the Frenchman used the "PureFlow" recovery system.

What is ‘Pure Flow’

PureFlow is a Rapid Pulse Compression system to help the body heal, recover and rejuvenate.

It optimizes your health using a low-impact, passive cardiovascular approach.

With two cuffs strapped to each leg, the system aids the recovery after high-intensity activity by increasing blood flow.

Benefits include reducing stress, aiding mobility, boosting stamina, helping with weight-loss and boasts anti-ageing capabilities.

Lying down on what looks like a dentist's chair, Pogba has two cuffs attached to each leg.

Much like a blood pressure machine, the cuffs inflate and deflate rapidly in a bid to boost blood flow around the body – and therefore increase oxygen circulation.

The system – backed by a host of medical studies claims to improve stamina, aid recovery and even reduce stress.

It also promises to help with weight-loss and even boasts anti-ageing capabilities.

Pogba will have plenty of opportunities to use "PureFlow" too, with Man United's next game not until the trip to Selhurst Park to take on Crystal Palace on March 5.

During Sunday's clash at Old Trafford, United were forced to battle from a goal down to clinch all three points in the "six-pointer".

Willian's 32nd-minute strike had put Antonio Conte's Chelsea in the lead, only for Romelu Lukaku to hit back minutes later.

Jesse Lingard then nodded in the winner in the 75th minute as United moved back into second place – six points above the Blues in fifth.
