RASMUS HOJLUND is really keen on joining Manchester United this summer according to reports.

Meanwhile, Andre Onana's £42.7m transfer to Manchester United has finally been confirmed.

Only Chelsea's £72m world record signing of Kepa Arrizabalaga and Liverpool's £67m acquisition of Alisson – both in 2018 – are larger than Onana's move to Old Trafford.

And the takeover continues to drag on, with the Glazers STILL yet to make any announcement after receiving improved bids.

    Frankfurt scared of United approach

Eintracht Frankfurt are reportedly afraid of Manchester United attempting to sign Randal Kolo Muani.

The French forward has been long linked with a move to Old Trafford and reports suggest United could be preparing an offer.

However the Red Devils seem to be all in on Atalanta forward Rasmus Hojlund at the moment.

The 20-year-old is reportedly keen on a move to the Manchester club too.

    Atlanta worried about Hojlund departure

Atlanta manager Gian Piero Gasperini fears that he may lose star striker Rasmus Hojlund amid Manchester United's interest.

He has been reported as Erik ten Hag's number one target this summer after they wrapped up the deal for Andre Onana.

Gasperini told Sky Sports Italia: "If he stays? I don't know, honestly I don't know, the transfer market is unpredictable.

"I don't know the value of the player, he can be worth even €100million, but the market value is uncertain.

"I hope the club will value Højlund around €80m, €90m or €100m fee"

    Dre dream

Andre Onana has completed a dream £47million move to Manchester United.

But the Cameroonian stopper has revealed he would have gone down a very different career path if he hadn’t become a footballer.
Onana, 27, is Erik ten Hag’s latest big capture after starring under the Dutchman at Ajax.

Onana’s long-awaited Old Trafford transfer was finally confirmed on Thursday, allowing him to link up with new United teammates in the USA.

But replacing the David de Gea holds no fear for Onana.

That’s because if he had not become a footballer, the brave baller would have instead joined the police.

Previously revealing his alternative career decision, Onana simply said via the Telegraph: “I like to protect.”

    Playing for Keeps

Man Utd made signing a goalkeeper a priority – and the new man between the sticks at Old Trafford will be Andre Onana.

The Red Devils splashed £47million on the Cameroon shotstopper who will replace David De Gea between the sticks.

The Cameroon international was a revelation in the club's Champions League run to the semi finals in 2019.

It's a competition he thrives in, after helping Inter Milan reach last season's final.

The 27-year-old has signed a five-year deal reportedly worth around £6.2million a year.

And the goalie has made sure he's shared the wealth accrued from his fame with his homeland.

    United consider Jonny Evans offer

Manchester United are giving Jonny Evans the chance to earn a permanent stay at the club, according to The Telegraph.

Evans was surprisingly re-signed by United on a short-term deal earlier this week and featured in the friendly win against Lyon.

The defender will now travel with an academy squad to San Diego, where a side mostly filled with youngsters will play Wrexham on Tuesday.

And he could be offered a contract by Erik ten Hag if he impresses, as he would act as a cheap back-up option.

    United prepare offer for Hojlund

Manchester United are preparing to submit an offer of €60m for Danish hot-shot Rasmus Hojlund.

That’s the understanding of Italian football journalist Alfredo Pedulla, who believes Atalanta will be willing to do business in order to finance their own transfer activity.

The €60m presented is not thought to include any bonuses that Old Trafford officials may offer to include in order to sweeten the deal.

At 20-years-old, Hojlund is one of the most exciting attacking talents in Europe, and has already netted six times for his country in just six appearances.

Onana in line for Arsenal debut

Manchester United wrapped up the signing of Andre Onana yesterday evening – and it now appears that the Old Trafford faithful will not have to wait long to see their new goalkeeper in action.

The Cameroonian wasted no time in flying out to New York to join his new teammates on their US tour, and United sources have hinted that he may yet play a part in Saturday's pre-season friendly with Arsenal at the MetLife Stadium.

Onana will become the fifth United goalkeeper out in America, and will alternate with Nathan Bishop, Tom Heaton, Dean Henderson and Radek Vitek across the next four games Stateside.

Meanwhile, it has also been revealed that the 27-year-old will wear the number 24 shirt during his debut season with the Red Devils.

Ten Hag hopes Harry will stay

Erik ten Hag is hoping that Harry Maguire will remain at Manchester United despite replacing him as club captain with Bruno Fernandes.

The much-maligned defender has been the speculation of transfer rumours ever since he was dropped as first choice centre-back early last season.

However, talkSPORT believe that Ten Hag wants Maguire to lean on his professionalism to provide strength and competition in central defence.

The 30-year-old England international has been linked with Chelsea, Newcastle and West Ham this summer, and has previously indicated his desire to play first team football.

Andre arrival to accelerate Hendo exit

David de Gea has already waved goodbye to Manchester United, and Dean Henderson could soon follow him out of the Old Trafford exit door.

The 26-year-old goalkeeper has once again been linked with Nottingham Forest, where he spent last season on loan.

Henderson lost his place at the City Ground to Keylor Navas following an injury in January, but the decorated Costa Rican has since returned to Paris Saint-Germain.

Forest had been ready to pull the plug on their long-standing interest in the English stopper with United playing hard ball, but Andre Onana's arrival could now see the Red Devils hoping to complete a quick and straightforward deal.

    David's no to replacing Onana

Andre Onana has arrived at Old Trafford from Inter Milan to replace David de Gea in the Manchester United goal – but the departing Spanish stopper almost ensured that the transfer deal went full circle.

The Daily Record report that De Gea had an offer on the table from Inter to succeed Onana at the San Siro.

However, the 32-year-old wasn't satisfied with the terms laid out, and instead favours a return to Spain to play in La Liga.

No sooner had the ink dried on his contract, and the Cameroonian stopper finds himself touching down in New York, having flown out to the United States to join the Manchester United pre-season tour.

And Onana could yet be involved when the Red Devils take on fellow Premier League club Arsenal at the MetLife Stadium on Saturday.

The 27-year-old joins four other goalkeepers – Tom Heaton, Dean Henderson, Nathan Bishop and Radek Vitek – in Erik ten Hag's travelling squad.

According to the Manchester Evening News, the 20-year-old is close to joining League One Reading as the Berkshire clubs undergoes a rebuild following relegation.

Unsurprisingly, United officials have been shrewd enough to include a sell-on clause should Savage prove a success story with the Royals and attract attention from bigger clubs.
