MANCHESTER UNITED are ready to offload Paul Pogba to Real Madrid or Barcelona and use the cash to rebuild their squad, according to reports.
The Frenchman has made no secret of his desire to leave the Red Devils and a summer departure now seems almost inevitable.
And United will get ahead of the move by signing two central midfielders and a striker, according to the Daily Mail.
Pogba has 18 months left on his £290,000-a-week deal but United have an option to extend for another year.
However, the Red Devils look likely to cash in to prevent the saga rumbling on too much longer.
Real were continually linked with the World Cup winner last summer and he is also said to have pushed for a Nou Camp move in the past.
Despite Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's public message that Pogba is not for sale, it is understood they will sell up and land two midfielders and a striker with the funds.
Leicester's James Maddison is hotly tipped as one of the playmakers to come in.
And Atletico Madrid's Saul Niguez is also a favourite of Solskjaer's in midfield.
Saul remains a target after United were braced to make their move in the summer.
The 25-year-old has a contract at the Spanish club until 2026 and it is believed Atletico wouldn't even entertain an offer lower than £128million.
