MANCHESTER UNITED legends Gary Neville and Rio Ferdinand jokingly promised they would quit Twitter in the wake of Liverpool's Premier League title win.
Kop legend Jamie Carragher was loving the historic victory and tweeted a photoshopped picture with Neville in a Liverpool shirt holding a bottle of champagne with the hashtag #19.
Moments before, Neville tweeted a waving-goodbye emoji, signalling that he's taking time out from the social media platform.
And Ferdinand also revealed he was ready to take some time off Twitter due to Liverpool's jubilant celebrations.
He said: "Brb Twitter… see you in a couple of weeks!"
Despite being enemies on the field back in their playing days, Carragher and Neville are now great pals after joining forces in the field of punditry.
And more banter is sure to flow in the coming days as Liverpool toast their wonderful achievement.
Former captain Steven Gerrard was over the moon on Wednesday night as he hailed Jurgen Klopp's side.
He wrote: “Congratulations to all @liverpoolfc on winning the Premier League.
“Incredible achievement from a fantastic squad of top players.

Liverpool boss Klopp donned a home shirt as he paid tribute to his players.
He told Sky Sports News: "It is unbelievable. It's much more than I ever thought would be possible.
"Knowing how much Kenny supported us, it is for you.
"He has waited 30 years and it's for Stevie [Gerrard]. The boys admire you all and it's easy to motivate the team because of our great history.
"It was really tense for 100 minutes of the City game, I didn't really want to be involved but you are when you watch it.
"It's an incredible achievement by my players and it's a huge joy for me to coach them.
"I haven't waited 30 years, I have been here for four and a half years, but it is quite an achievement, especially with the three month break because nobody knew if we could go on.
"The game last night gave me the feeling we would be fine and tonight is for the fans. I hope you stay at home, and it's a joy to do it for you.
"It [the pandemic] is not over yet and we watched the game together at the hotel so we will enjoy the moment.
"I know it is difficult for people in this moment but we could not hold back. We will enjoy this with our supporters when we can."
The Reds secured their first-ever Premier League title on Thursday night after Manchester City lost 2-1 to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
There are still SEVEN games to play, with Liverpool already a cool 23 points ahead of City.
