LIONEL MESSI will not quit Paris Saint-Germain for a dramatic transfer return to Barcelona.
El Nacional in Spain circulated reports over the weekend that his wife is 'not enjoying life in France' and wants to move back to sunny Spain.
And the wild allegations added old pals Xavi and Dani Alves are also trying to convince the seven-time Ballon d'Or winner to return to the Nou Camp.
But SunSport understands there is no chance of the Argentine superstar, 34, leaving the Ligue 1 giants after only joining in the summer.
Messi has not hit the heights he would have expected during his time in Paris just yet, with one league goal in an injury-and-Covid-hit campaign.
Luis Suarez, now with Atletico Madrid, said in December: "We talk every day, we always try to avoid expectations because we are players and we know how we have to act in those moments, we talk about the games, about the family.
"He told me that when he is playing in the cold, he suffers a lot and with the snow.
"You have to get used to what the cold weather there is like, sure."

Messi's deal at PSG runs until 2023.
And he plans to honour that contract by sticking with the club for the duration.
Messi left Barcelona last summer, ending his 21-year association with them.
His contract expired and Barcelona insisted they could not register Messi under a new contract even with a massive pay cut due to their major debts.
But since then, the club have made a number of signings including paying up to £55million for Ferran Torres.
