JOE ROGAN stepped in to help out a fighter while commentating at UFC 285.
The broadcaster sat by the octagon during the clash between Shavkat Rakhmonov and Geoff Neal.
Rogan ditched his commentary headset as he tried to point out a safety concern to referee Herb Dean.
The experienced official failed to notice that Rakhmonov's gumshield had dropped out of his mouth during the opening round.
Rogan spotted it on the floor and could be heard raising the alarm.
He was seen pointing at it and shouting "mouthpiece".

The ref eventually paused the fight, and returning to the microphone, Rogan said: "If I didn't tell him he didn't know. That is so crazy."
Fellow pundit Daniel Cormier said: "Hey Joe, you have got two jobs now, commentator and officiating assistant."
Rakhmonov was luckily not hurt while the shield was out of his mouth and he went on to win, extending his 100 per cent unbeaten run in his career to 17 fights.
The Kazakh secured a victory with a late submission.
