The WNBA season continues after a wildly entertaining All-Star break. There’s still much to figure out as we enter the second half of the year. One thing is certain — the league’s players can put together some outstanding outfits.
Supreme fits were abundant during All-Star Weekend. Stars like Nneka Ogwumike, Sue Bird, Candace Parker and more wore dazzling attire to the association’s orange carpet event on Friday. A’ja Wilson’s shirt with teammate Kelsey Plum pictured on it during the 3-point contest Saturday also stood out from the weekend’s festivities.
More players continued the trend of eccentric apparel this week. From honoring past hoopers to impressive jackets, it’s been an exceptional collection of styles.
Here’s a look at some of the eye-catching outfits from the week:
Jennie Simms, Phoenix Mercury
Simms showed love to a former Minnesota Lynx great Seimone Augustus despite them being the Mercury’s opponent Tuesday. The Phoenix guard rocked a shirt that had Augustus’ 1999 “Sports Illustrated for Women” cover pictured on it.
Michaela Onyenwere, New York Liberty
Onyenwere is the latest WNBA player to rock an impressive jacket this year. Her letterman features a letter M on the left chest and the logo for the New York Yankees on the right.
Skylar Diggins-Smith, Phoenix Mercury
Smith’s fits have been fashionable all year, including this one featuring a large crossbody bag by Puma.
Kelsey Plum, Las Vegas Aces
Plum rocked a throwback Jason Kidd New Jersey Nets jersey ahead of her team’s game against the Liberty.
Chelsea Gray, Las Vegas Aces
Gray arrived at Tuesday’s game against the Liberty wearing an Adidas and Gucci romper with some shades.
Julie Allemand, Chicago Sky
French soccer star Kylian Mbappe has a fan in Allemand, as she sported his jersey ahead of Tuesday’s game against the Atlanta Dream.
