JADON SANCHO has to eat from a lunchbox and lock himself in the academy changing room during his Manchester United exile.

The England international arrived at Old Trafford in 2021 as part of a £73million deal with Borussia Dortmund.

Sancho, 23, has been training away from the first team since his public bust-up with manager Erik ten Hag over his performances in training.

He claimed that he was being made a "scapegoat" by the Dutch manager.

The exiled winger is not allowed in the senior facilities, according to The Athletic.

This means that he has had to adapt his routine which includes parking his car closer to the academy building.

This building is where he has to get ready before training on separate pitches to his team-mates.

Sancho's food is instead brought to him in a lunchbox while he remains in the academy building.

The report claims that he has made a good impression on the academy players that he has mixed with during his exile.

During the week in which the first-team faced off against Bayern Munich in the Champions League, it is said that Sancho opted to watch the u18s face Nottingham Forest at Carrington.

It is also reported that the former Dortmund ace stayed around after the match and answered questions from the youth players.

Sancho has since been linked with a January exit from the club with it being suggested that his Man United career is "90 per cent over".

Clubs from Turkey, Germany and Italy have been tipped with an interest in him.

However former side Dortmund have distanced themselves with a return for their old player.

Sancho has kept himself busy outside of training as he was pictured at a birthday party for basketball star John Wall in September.

He was seen at the Cirque Le Soir nightclub in London alongside Mike Tyson's son, Amir.
