JAMIE CARRAGHER will lace up his football boots once again and turn out for England in this year's Soccer Aid charity match.
The former Liverpool ace is often seen analysing the game's current stars from his punditry position – but will be flying into challenges on the Stamford Bridge turf.
How old is Jamie Carragher?
The Bootle native was born January 28, 1978 – making him 41.
He spent his entire football career with Liverpool, joining their academy in 1988 before retiring in 2013.
That is despite being an Everton fan as a child.
Carragher also featured 38 times for England, but did not see his first action at a major tournament until Euro 2006, missing a penalty in the quarter-final defeat to Portugal.
How many trophies did he win?
Carragher will forever be one of Liverpool's greatest ever players during his 15-year professional career at Anfield.
While the Premier League title eluded him – and continues to be missing from the club's collection since 1990 – the centre-back still picked up 11 trophies during his professional career.
Carragher was a part of the treble-winning side that collected the FA Cup, League Cup and Uefa Cup in 2001 – adding the Community Shield and Uefa Super Cup to his cabinet a few months later.
But the grand prize came on that famous night in Istanbul on May 25, 2005 – claiming the Champions League title in dramatic fashion.
Carragher also took home three Liverpool player of the season awards to add to his own personal collection.
Who is his wife Nicola Hart?
The former Liverpool star met his future wife Nicola Hart at primary school.
But they did not start dating until Carragher was 18.
The ex-defender even messed up his first wedding proposal, using a wrong sized ring and mis-wrapped present – but Nicola promised she would say 'yes' on the second try.
They married on July 1, 2005 and now have two children.
Mia, 15, is aspiring singer, actress and dancer, having appeared in an advert to promote using the bus in Merseyside.
Son James was born 2002 and was signed to Wigan Athletic's academy in 2017.
