CHELTENHAM is back! And Templegate thinks he's found three big bets on day one of the October meeting.

Has done well since switching back to fences with a debut win at Wexford before a good third in a Galway Grade 3.
He sees out this trip strongly and can improve further.
ASH TREE MEADOW (2.10 Cheltenham, nb)
He had a good summer with two wins at Perth along with a Killarney success.
He then ran a cracker in the Galway Plate before a solid second in a Grade 3 at Tipperary on comeback.
COOLE CODY (3.55 Cheltenham, treble)
He can go one better than his second in this last year. He’ll go from the front with his usual zip and take plenty of passing.
Onagatheringstorm likes Cheltenham and a wind op will help on this comeback.

Templegate's Cheltenham verdicts

TULLYPOLE ANNIE went down in a head-bobber at Tipperary last time and is best in a big field. She is only four and has more to offer.
Fergal O’Brien does well in this race and Castel Gandolfo has a solid Cheltenham record while the yard’s Elham Valley is on the upgrade.
No Trouble is another threat after a good Downpatrick win.

Aucunrisque was classy over hurdles and scored nicely on chase debut at Uttoxeter.

MUSIC DRIVE was eighth in the Champion Bumper and made a winning hurdles debut at Galway earlier this month.
He can take a big step forward from that.
She Is Electric took a Listed contest at Gowran from the front and could well nick this again.

BERMEO won this two years ago and has solid claims in a wide-open race. He was impressive at Newbury two runs ago and is on a fair weight.
On Springs has won four of his past five and stays well, while Old Town Garde went close at Gowran latest.

AN MHI can give Gordon Elliott another win in this race. He’s from the family of Big Buck’s so should relish the track.
Hullnback was second in a hot Aintree bumper and is a big danger.
