HAKIM ZIYECH is reportedly ready to accept a wage cut in order to seal a move to AC Milan.

The 29-year-old is keen to leave Chelsea before the end of the transfer window.

AC Milan have been linked throughout the summer but a £30million investment on midfielder Charles De Ketelaere saw their transfer funds take a hit.

Although Ziyech's willingness to cut his wages means the Serie A champions will now make the Blues an offer, according to Calciomercato.

The Moroccan winger earns a reported £100,000-a-week at Stamford Bridge – but is happy to take home less in order to secure a move.

And now the San Siro side want to loan Ziyech for the season, with the option to sign him permanently.

Chelsea though are believed to want AC Milan to have the obligation to buy Ziyech if he is loaned out, which would see him definitely moved on for good.

The Rossoneri though are not prepared to include an obligation to buy in the deal.

That stumbling block means Ziyech's future is unlikely to be resolved until the closing days of the window.

AC Milan are claimed to be willing to wait until then, hoping Chelsea's desperation to shift him will lead to them accepting the offer from the Italians.

The Blues remain desperate for him to go, with Ziyech listed alongside Timo Werner, Malang Sarr and Marcos Alonso earlier this week as players free to leave the club.

Werner and Sarr have already gone, with Alonso reportedly set to complete a £6.5million move to Barcelona this week.

So the Blues could find themselves caving to Milan's demands if Ziyech is still on the books come the final days of the window.

Ziyech started just 14 Premier League games last season, and Raheem Sterling's arrival this summer will only restrict his game time further.

The Moroccan ace was an unused sub in Chelsea's 1-0 win at Everton on Saturday.
