Follow the latest updates live from the German Grand Prix at Hockenheim as ŧhe 11th race of the season promises to be one of the most dramatic.

Ferrari endured a nightmare Saturday as they saw Sebastian Vettel ruled out of qualifying without completing a lap, before Charles Leclerc has to withdraw with his own engine issues. It means they start 20th and 10th respectively, but the rain that has hit Hockenheim this morning will play straight into their hands in an effort to make their way through the field.

However, the battle out in front is not a given as Max Verstappen starts in second alongside pole-sitter Lewis Hamilton, and you can be sure that if the Red Bull driver gets away well off the line, he’ll have a go at the lead. Follow the live action below.

The German Grand Prix gets underway at 2:10pm BST (3:10pm CET).

Where can I watch it?

The race will be shown live on Sky Sports F1 from 12:30pm. Highlights will be shown on Channel 4 at 7pm.
