TYSON FURY could be set for an appearance at Wrestlemania 36 in April after hinting he would be open to fighting at WWE's flagship annual event.
The 31-year-old – who beat Braun Strowman in his wrestling debut at Crown Jewel earlier this month – is expected to return to boxing to face Deontay Wilder in a rematch.
Fury yesterday declared he will be back in camp on January 10 ahead of his February 22 bout against the Bronze Bomber for the WBC heavyweight title.
And he stated he could be back inside the squared circle less than two months after to compete at Wrestlemania.
Speaking to talkSPORT, he said: "[Chairman of the WWE] Vince McMahon said he has recruited sports stars from all different sports and he has never seen anyone come into their game, have a couple of training sessions, and pick it up like that. I looked like a natural in there!
“We have left the door open. Wrestlemania is coming up in April so who knows – never say never.”

BROCK LESNAR
Fury spoke of his willingness to face the former UFC heavyweight champ on talkSPORT, as he said: "Yeah, look, I’d fight Brock Lesnar in the drop of a heartbeat."
The 42-year-old – who is the current WWE champion – has won five of the nine matches he has taken part in Wrestlemania.
THE UNDERTAKER
The 54-year-old boasts a phenomenal record of 24 wins and two losses at Wrestlemania.
He didn't compete last year at Wrestlemania – the first time he didn't appear at the event in 19 years.
And if he was to come back and make an appearance, you can be sure he will be facing a huge name.
THE B TEAM
Fury teamed up with Strowman at Friday Night SmackDown to face The B Team members Curtis Axel and Bo Dallas.
The former unified heavyweight champion returned to his hometown of Manchester where he and Strowman easily made light work of their opponents.
After being made to look easy, the duo could be out to seek revenge.
THE NEW DAY
If Fury was to team with up SmackDown star Strowman again, they could face The New Day, who are the regining Tag Team Champions.
The duo – consisting of Big E, Kofu Kingston and Xavier Woods – are in their fifth reign as champs.
All three members are considered champions under the Freebird rule, and are allowed to defend their belts as a trio.
DEONTAY WILDER
The 2008 Olympic bronze medallist could make a shock appearance at Wrestlemania immediately after his planned fight against Fury.
Both men are perfectly suited for WWE and however unlikely it is that the duo will face each other in a wrestling fight, anything can happen at Wrestlemania.
