EX-MANCHESTER UNITED star Ashley Young told Anthony Martial "it's about time you occupied that No9 shirt" after reuniting in a pre-season friendly Down Under.
The pair played together for five years at Old Trafford and have an unlikely bromance.
And Martial got to share the pitch with Young once again but on opposite teams as Man Utd met Aston Villa in a pre-season friendly.
The two Premier Leaguer sides played out a 2-2 draw with Villa equalising in added-time.
Calum Chambers grabbed the late goal and Young saw out the game wearing the captain's armband.
After the match, Martial appeared in Young's Instagram comments.

Young recognised his former team-mate and hailed his fine goalscoring form in pre-season.
Martial has scored in three of four games played this month and has impressed new boss Erik ten Hag.
Young says it's about time the Frenchman makes United's No9 shirt his own.
The former England international told Martial: "Was good to see you my bro and thanks for your shirt, good luck for the season bro and it’s about time you occupied that No9 shirt."

The once tipped Ballon d'Or contender was sent out on loan to Sevilla last season after struggling to make an impact off United's bench.
He's set to be handed a second chance to prove he is worth the hype that surrounded him as a teenager and in his early 20s.
Ten Hag has BLOCKED United from selling the 26-year-old, especially with the club short of attackers.
Legendary forward Cristiano Ronaldo could leave the club this summer, leaving a massive hole to fill.
The 37-year-old expressed his desire to leave Old Trafford in search of Champions League football.
And with the season less than three weeks away, Ronaldo is yet to return to pre-season training.
