JAMAL BLACKMAN could be on his way to League One with Port Vale seeking a keeper.
The former Chelsea prospect, 28, is a free agent after he left Huddersfield Town this summer but could now hook up with Vale.
Blackman was the Terriers' back-up keeper last season as they reached the Championship play-off final.
He was an unused substitute at Wembley behind Lee Nicholls.
The ex-Blue made just three first-team appearances last term.
He started FA Cup clashes with Barnsley and Forest, as well as the final day 2-0 win over Bristol City.

Blackman never made a senior appearance for Chelsea, although he was named on their bench.
The Croydon-born stopper was loaned out EIGHT times by the Blues.
He had spells with Middlesbrough, Ostersund, Wycombe, Sheffield United, Leeds, Vitesse, Bristol Rovers and Rotherham.
Blackman finally left Chelsea in 2021, joining Los Angeles FC.
