WWE legend Edge looks set to make his highly-anticipated return to Monday Night Raw in a fortnight.
The Hall of Famer, real name Adam Copeland, shocked the world with a comeback at last month’s Royal Rumble almost nine years after he was forced to retire.
After bouncing back from his career-ending neck injury to perform at the Rumble, he then followed that up with an appearance on Raw the next night.
But the 46-year-old former world champion was brutally attacked by Randy Orton and has not been seen since.
However, it looks like WWE fans will not have to wait much longer to see the Rated-R Superstar in the ring again.
Washington DC’s Capital One Arena will host the March 9 episode of Raw, just 24 hours after the company’s next pay-per-view Elimination Chamber.
And they are advertising an appearance by Edge, promising fans he will be live on the show to provide an update on his condition following the attack by Orton.
WWE did announce last night that Edge’s wife, Beth Phoenix, will also be on the next week’s episode with an update.
Orton does not have a match scheduled for the upcoming Elimination Chamber or WrestleMania.
But it is widely-expected The Viper will battle Edge at ‘Mania in Tampa on April 5.
