Chloë Sevigny and her partner, Sinisa Mackovic, are about to become parents.
The two are expecting their first child in spring Sevigny’s rep, Amanda Horton, told USA TODAY in an emailed statement.
In photos obtained by TMZ, the 45-year-old “American Horror Story” actress can be seen walking hand in hand with Mackovic wearing a fitted brown dress that shows off her baby bump.
Sevigny has previously credited her youthful look to not having any children.
In a 2016 interview with W Magazine, she was asked about her skin care routine because she seemingly doesn’t age.
“I think it’s not having had a baby yet. Because I think the baby wear and tear and stress on your body is part of the reason why people say, ‘Why do you still look so young?’ I really think that that unfortunately ages women, especially when they have children in their 30s, not in their 20s,” Sevigny said. “So I think, first and foremost, it’s that and genetics.”
The actress, who has played many roles on screen — a polygamist’s wife, an HIV-positive teen and a transgender assassin, told USA TODAY that she was intrigued by the prospect of playing a complicated, strong female character who also was morally ambiguous. Sevigny was speaking in reference to her role on A&E’s “Those Who Kill.”
“I need to have a lot of elements that (interest me) in a character, like nothing I’ve played before,” she said. “I feel like there’s been all these great men on television, from (Mad Men’s) Don Draper to (The Sopranos’) Tony Soprano to (Breaking Bad’s) Walter White, who everybody cheers for, but who are fundamentally bad people. There doesn’t seem to be a lot of female characters that are like that.”
