ARSENAL and Liverpool are reportedly set to battle it out for Italy international Bryan Cristante.

Tuttosport claims the Benfica midfielder, currently on loan at Atalanta, has emerged as a £27million target for the Premier League pair.

Cristante has impressed this season, scoring ten goals in 33 appearances across all competitions.

The 23-year-old is rated as one of the best young midfielders in Europe.

And his recent explosion onto the international scene has clubs sniffing around for his signature.

It’s said that Liverpool and Arsenal are keen on bringing Cristante to England.
