ARSENAL are exploring a shock move to sign David Raya, according to reports.
The Brentford shot stopper has made his intention to leave abundantly clear after refusing to sign two new contract offers.
And now the Gunners are considering a move for the 27-year-old, according to The Athletic.
The report suggests Raya would favour a move to the Emirates, where he would link back up with former Bees goalkeeping coach Inaki Cana.
Arsenal have been long-term admirers of the Spaniard, and with his contract set to expire next summer Brentford are prepared to sell for the right price.
Despite the interest, the North London outfit are yet to lodge a bid.

Bayern Munich are also interested in signing Raya, though their preference is understood to be a loan transfer.
Raya's Premier League experience would make him an invaluable member of Arsenal's squad, with his proficiency in playing out from the back a particular highlight of his game.
This saw both Manchester United and Tottenham hold talks over his signing earlier in the summer.
But in the end both opted for Andre Onana and Guglielmo Vicario respectively after SunSport revealed they were quoted £40million.
