ARSENAL could sign Club Brugge winger Noa Lang for £33million come the end of the season after scouting the attacker for months.

Multiple sources in Belgium and Lang’s native Netherlands have claimed Arsenal are ready to submit a bid for him.

The 22-year-old has scored eight times and registered a further 12 assists in 37 appearances this season.

After graduating from Ajax’s famous academy, Lang moved to Club Brugge initially on loan before a move was made permanent in the summer of 2021.

Since arriving in the Belgian capital, Lang has won the league title and the league's young player of the year award building on his league and cup double won at Ajax.

His success has merited three caps for the Dutch national team having made his debut for them earlier this season.

Arsenal are set to face competition in signing him with Brighton and Leeds rumoured to be interested.

But the winger has his eyes set on the biggest teams according to ex-pro Gert Verheyen who said, “He will not dream of clubs like Brighton.

“But the question is whether clubs like Arsenal will come this summer.”

Lang is a versatile attacker capable of playing on the left-wing and as a striker, similarly to the recently departed Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

Gunners boss Mikel Arteta is building a young and talented side with big potential, there is no doubt Lang fits the bill.

Arsenal are in pole position to finish in the all-important fourth place spot and qualify for the Champions League, this will only help Arteta’s pursuit of his long-term target.
