Paulo Dybala called off his move to Manchester United while his agent was sat in Ed Woodward's office.
According to Fabrizio Romano in Calciomercato, Dybala’s broker Jorge Antun was in negotiations with the United executive vice chairman Woodward at the club’s London office.
But the Argentina international called Antun and told him that he was happy at Juventus, loves the Italian club and is not after a big-money move to England.
Spurs were also linked with a move for Dybala, but that move failed to materialise too.
United are, however, confident that starlet Tahith Chong will sign a longterm contract with the club, according to reports.
The talented midfielder, 20, is said to be interesting European clubs including Inter Milan, Juventus and Barcelona.
The Holland Under-21 international's contract is set to expire this summer, and he was expected to move from Old Trafford.
But, according to the Sunday Telegraph, the Red Devils are confident Chong will sign a new deal.
A source says the club “hope that offers from abroad will be resisted and the club can beat any interest.”
And Real Madrid are planning a fresh bid to sign David De Gea this summer.
SunSport understands Real boss Zinedine Zidane remains a huge fan of Manchester United’s keeper and wants him to replace Thibaut Courtois.
United would demand £70million for De Gea, 29, who only signed a new £375,000-a-week contract in September.
