  • AUBA AND OUT?

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is “pleased” to be on Barcelona's wishlist… but wants his future settled sooner rather than later, according to reports.

Spanish newspaper Sport claim that Barca chiefs met with the Arsenal skipper's representatives in January.

Luis Suarez had picked up an injury and the Catalan giants were in the market, but Barcelona were met with an Arsenal hierarchy refusing to budge.

The Gunners want to tie their star striker down to a new contract, reportedly slapping a £50million price tag on their Gabonese forward.

  • ARSENAL RELOADED

At 3pm, Arsenal will be airing a classic dramatic Gunners win over Leicester City.

Taking place in August 2017, there were numerous questions to be answered, would Alexandre Lacazette make a fast start to life in English football?

Or was there still a role to be had for his compatriot Olivier Giroud?

Arsenal fans will enjoy this throwback.

  • TEMP DEAL

Premier League clubs will be allowed to sign players on temporary contracts if the season continues beyond the expiry of their current deals, according to reports.

Hundreds of players including stars at Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham have contracts that expire this summer.

The Premier League is currently suspended until April 4 with the EFL on hold until April 3.

However, there are fears both will have to extend their delays further as football attempts to combat the spread of coronavirus.

Euro 2020 was postponed by a year on Tuesday to allow domestic seasons to be completed over the summer if possible.

But this may lead to a contractual nightmare with many players further down the pyramid fearing for their livelihoods.

In a bid to combat such a situation, football authorities like the FA, Premier League, EFL and PFA are expected to be flexible and allow temporary deals in order to complete the season, according to the Telegraph.

  • ROLL UP

Santi Cazorla wants an emotional return to Arsenal as a coach.

The Gunners legend left the Emirates in 2018 following an injury-hit campaign before signing for Spanish side Villarreal.

Cazorla, 35, has since put injury issues behind him and is enjoying a final career swansong before hanging up his boots.

He has made 24 league appearances this season scoring eight and assisting six.

The veteran has previously spoken of his desire to return to the Emirates in the future as he never “got a proper goodbye.”

  • WILL I NEVER

Tottenham are reportedly set to beat north London rivals Arsenal to the signature of Chelsea winger Willian.

The Brazilian is set to leave Stamford Bridge on a free transfer with his contract up at the end of the season.

And a reunion with his former boss Jose Mourinho at Tottenham is the most likely destination, according to Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo.

Willian has been at Chelsea since Mourinho signed him from Anzhi in Russia back in 2013.
