CAM HERE
Arsenal have been linked with former Liverpool youngster Rafael Camacho.
Winger Camacho moved to Sporting Lisbon from the Reds last summer in search of more first-team opportunities.
But he has struggled to establish himself in Portugal and the Gunners, as well as Chelsea and Manchester United have all been credited with an interest.
Camacho, 19, made two appearances for Liverpool and spent time in the Manchester City academy between 2013 and 2016.
POINT TO PROVE
Ceballos says he would have felt like a coward if he'd left Arsenal in January.
Valencia entered talks to end the Spaniard's loan spell from Real Madrid and take him for the rest of the season.
But a deal could not be struck and the 23-year-old is keen to prove to Mikel Arteta that he deserves a spot in the team as he makes his way back from a hamstring injury.
He said: “Arsenal took a chance on me and you have to return that trust through work to turn the situation around.
“If I do that, return from injury and help the team achieve it’s objectives, it will leave a better feeling than if I had taken the coward’s way out and left.”
BRAD SO GOOD
Arsenal are reportedly one of three Premier League teams chasing England youth goalkeeper Brad Young.
The 17-year-old is owned by National League side Hartlepool United but has spent the majority of the season on loan at Billingham Town in the National League Division One.
The Gunners have joined London rivals Chelsea in the race to sign the youngster, with the Blues thought to be preparing a six-figure bid and Manchester United also interested.
Young stands at 6 ft 4 in tall and according to the Hartlepool Mail, caught the attention of a number of top sides after a call-up to an England goalkeeper training camp late last year.
NO MERTY
Arsenal are among a number of clubs interested in signing Dries Mertens for free this summer.
The Napoli forward's contract with the Serie A club expires in June and he has been free to speak with foreign clubs about a move since January.
Manchester United and Chelsea look set to join the Gunners in the race to sign the Belgian international, who has ten goals and five assists in all competitions this year.
Mertens has spent seven seasons in Naples but is one of a number of players linked with the exit door following a downturn in form this season.
BELLERIN PRAISE
The Spaniard said: “I think sometimes we need to be a bit more efficient in front of goal [but] that’s also something that comes with confidence, when you see that you’re playing better and controlling games better, the goals are something that’s going to come.
“I’m sure you’re going to see that very quickly.
“For us, the promise is that we’re trying to get better every single day. When a different coach comes, there are different things that you’re being asked to do.
“The most important thing is to get things right and I think with the coaching that we’re getting and the tactical advice, if we do the things that they’re asking us to do we’re going to be successful.”
