    And the Blues have now reopened their Cobham training, although anyone who was in close contact with the 19-year-old remains in self-isolation.

    Furthermore, Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich has promised NHS staff free accommodation at the Bridge’s Millennium Hotel during the fight against coronavirus.

    Lamps said of Hudson-Odoi: “He has made great progress and almost feels his usual self.

    “I am of course aware that not everyone can or will recover from this virus, so I urge all of the football and sporting community to continue to act responsibly and look out for the health of others.”

    Meanwhile, Chelsea are reportedly frontrunners to sign Barcelona’s ex-Liverpool playmaker Philippe Coutinho, currently on loan with Bayern Munich.

    Spanish newspaper AS claims Lampard has already held talks with the 27-year-old over a summer move.
