Actress Zoe Kravitz will star as Catwoman in the upcoming superhero flick “The Batman” — opposite Robert Pattinson, who will play the Dark Knight, a report said Monday.
The flick, which is being produced by Warner Bros. and written by director Matt Reeves, is expected to start filming in the UK in January, The Wrap reported.
Reeves, who directed the last two “Planet of the Apes” movies, took over the filmmaking role of “The Batman” when Ben Affleck dropped out of the project, Variety reported.
The film’s producers announced Pattinson was cast as the Caped Crusader in May.
Kravitz previously starred in the HBO series “Big Little Lies,” which wrapped up filming in July, according to Variety. She also had a role in 2015’s “Mad Max: Fury Road” and “X-Men: First Class” in 2011.
“The Batman” has a tentative release date of June 2021, according to The Wrap.
