You don’t need to be a tarot card pro to get your cards read. All you need: your Sun sign! Here’s what I do: Shuffle my tarot deck and pull out the cards in order from Aries to Pisces plus one general card for everyone so that you can get specific advice around your personality.
Basically, if your bank account is not ready for a full tarot reading just yet, this one should help tide you over for now!
A GENERAL CARD FOR EVERYONE: KING OF CUPS
Feelings may run a lil’ high this week, but this gives you a real test of how well-versed you are in your emotional landscape. Can you easily identify and address your feelings, or do you always rush to find a distraction from them?
Challenges this week make you think deeper than usual. So, see these testing moments as a means to fathom how your inner workings, well, work. You’ll come through feeling wiser and more in control than ever!
ARIES: KNIGHT OF COINS
The key to success this week is to remember that, if/when in doubt, play it safe. Don’t make a move if you don’t have to and if you’re not 100% sure. Lean back, rather than in, if the waters seem murky. The Knight of Coins is all about caution and suggests giving a decision a little bit more time, in case useful new info comes to light. Fight your Mars-driven urges to forge ahead too fast.
TAURUS: PAGE OF COINS
Education is the name of the game for you over the next seven days–it’s back to school for Taureans with the studious Page of Coins! This card represents an investment in the knowledge and skills required for your dream career. Take the time to research or learn anything that can help you move forward. Future-you is going to thank you for this, so don’t slack off now!
GEMINI: NINE OF COINS
Your long-term plans are long overdue for a review. The Nine of Coins is about investment, aka the long game in life in terms of your possessions, home and career. So, where are you heading? Do you like the look of the destination? If so, keep doing what you’re doing. If not, make tweaks in the here and now–a good place to start might be your savings account and NOT booking that impulsive vacay.
CANCER: ACE OF WANDS
Think back on the times when you felt like you were authentically ‘you.’ The Ace of Wands shows that there’s a window of opportunity ahead to start something new, which builds on something you tried, and loved, before. Maybe it’s pursuing an old hobby or skill, or reconnecting with a social circle you had a lot of fun with in the past. Something new can come from the old, and you might be so happy you followed it up!
LEO: SEVEN OF CUPS
Keep your lion paws on the ground this week, Leo, because there’s danger in you getting spirited away on a fantastical path to nowhere. It’s nice to daydream, and the Seven of Cups is the patron saint of imagination. Which is all well and good, until you find yourself spending more time with your head in the clouds then tending to what’s right in front of you. You don’t need to give up on your dreams–just make sure you’re only focusing on one at a time.
VIRGO: THE SUN
This is one of the tarot’s most positive cards and implies you’ll have a very good week, so you can afford to share the love because you’ve got it going on in abundance. Book a vacation, take a day off, treat a friend to drinks, pay compliments like they’re going out of fashion, and just have a blast. Whatever joy you sow now will bloom into glorious technicolor later.
LIBRA: FOUR OF COINS
Do you feel like stuck right now? Is there one little spot in your life which seems to be looping, even though you long for change and progress? The Four of Coins is the ‘rut’ card, and says that, this week, you’ve got the power to break out of confinement for good. Break a habit, change the game, and move on with confidence. It’s time.
SCORPIO: FIVE OF SWORDS
Scorpio, you’re a powerful adversary and I feel kinda sorry for whoever crossed you recently. The Five of Swords shows there has been some feather ruffling around you, and that, while you like sparring with others (you’re partly ruled by Mars, my friend), it’s time to call it quits. Deep down, you know this is a no-win situation, so withdraw yourself from drama.
SAGITTARIUS: THE TOWER
The Tower is one of those cards that people fear BUT it’s actually an angel in disguise. It means the arrival of a sudden, unexpected event or insight which rocks your world. None of us really like change, and most of us kinda hate surprises too, so yes, there might be a teeny bit of discomfort ahead. However, the purpose of this card is to reveal and dismantle any and all false, fading or negative energies around you–leaving a firm foundation on which to build something new and better. Welcome The Tower and wield its power, it’s like a ‘tough love’ pal who comes to help you clear house!
CAPRICORN: KING OF COINS
You’re going to come into your own this week and feel like NOTHING could go wrong. You’re mostly right! The King of Coins represents your strengths–pragmatism, determination, and ambition. Use this week to tend to all of your priority projects and goals. It’s hard for you to fail now, and little bit of effort will go a mighty long way this week.
AQUARIUS: SIX OF WANDS
The Six of Wands is like the tarot’s “high five” card and is a total reassurance that wherever you’re at IS exactly where you’re meant to be. So, no stressing or fretting about ifs, buts and maybes–just know everything has brought you to this spot for a reason. What “coincidences” do you notice? Are they merely serendipitous opportunities, or did your hard work and growth lead you here all on your own?
PISCES: KING OF SWORDS
Pisces, if you have an older, male Air sign (Libra, Gemini, Aquarius) in your life, then check in on them this week. Ask how they’re doing, seek an update on their news, invite them out–that could well be the reason for the King of Swords visiting you this week. Alternatively, this card could be asking you to adopt the King’s characteristics–using logic and intellect (rather than your famous intuition and emotional side) to solve issues and seek new opportunities in your life. Be smart, shrewd and savvy, like the King of Swords–it will pay off.
