World’s first nail varnish remover CREAM takes off polish in minutes without the acetone stench – and promises to stop your nails from drying out
- The SIGN Tribe’s ‘Remove and Chill’ removes varnish with a unique formula
- Place a blob of cream on each nail and ‘chilling’ it can be wiped off with tissue
- Formula is enriched with macadamia, almond, argan and sesame oil, vitamin E and premium waxes to help condition the nail
A beauty brand has released a world’s first – a clever time-saving cream that removes your nail varnish in less than a couple of minutes.
Beauty fans will rejoice as they can swap the strong scent of acetone-based liquids for the unique formula enriched with macadamia, almond, argan and sesame oil, vitamin E and premium waxes to help condition the nail instead of drying it out.
The cream made by the Frankfurt-based beauty collective is dubbed ‘Remove and Chill’ comes in a handbag size tube, designed for users to blob on each nail, ‘chill’ and then remove with a tissue.
‘Remove and Chill’ requires nail varnish lovers to dollop a pea-sized amount on each nail and wait a minute for every layer.
The Sign Tribe’s ‘Remove and Chill’ is the first ever nail varnish remover cream that you blob on your nails and leave to soak before wiping off
Once the cream has soaked in to the varnish, it should be removed with cotton wool or tissue – and even gets to grips with tough glitter polish and metallic styles, but isn’t designed for gel varnish.
The product, which costs £14.25 in the UK and is available online, has been applauded by beauty pros.
It has even approved by busy mothers who still want to enjoy painting their nails without worrying about impact the chemicals could have on their children.
One told The Sign Tribe: ‘I’m one of those girls who feel naked without nail polish. My finger nails can change colour weekly and my toe nails are painted whether it’s summer or winter.
‘After becoming a mother, I started to take notice of cosmetic products which may impact my baby and although I’m not a full-on natural mother, products having strong smells were on my black list.
The product has been praised by mothers who expressed worries over chemicals in normal acetone-based liquids
Instructions for Remove and Chill involve putting the cream on each nail massaging it in leaving to soak a minute for every varnish layer before wiping off with cotton wool or tissue
‘One of the nastiest smelling products was obviously a typical nail polish remover. This is where ‘Remove and Chill’ passed my baby proof and became the perfect product to use even with the baby sleeping on my lap.
‘Smelling like a hand cream, my little one doesn’t even notice while I’m removing nail polish. Mommy with fresh, clean nails and baby with a restful nap.’
Founder Marie Vanderstichel came up with the concept of the cream after working as an marketing innovator in Luxembourg.
She has a passion for cosmetics and was desperate to focus on the connection brands had with their customers instead of looking for the latest trend.
It was out of this frustration that she grew the idea for The SIGN Tribe, which has a mission to create a brand without any pretension that would offer products to simplify customer’s beauty routines.
Her dream was ‘being part of a team that works without any strong pressure and the ability to not take ourselves too seriously’.
