A video shows how a baffled woman discovered she had a whole new room attached to her bedroom when she looked behind the wardrobe – after living there for three years.
In the clip, uploaded on TikTok by user @abrianacristel, a woman squeezes through a gap in the wall and into another room, which hasn't been plastered and has wires hanging down.
"This is so weird," she says.
"What the frig," she adds, spinning the camera around to show the huge room, which has a slanted ceiling and floorboards still covered in sawdust.
Pointing at wires dangling from the ceiling, she adds: "This line is cut, is that safe?"
They have been renting the home for three years and, although they noticed the extra windows, they had never guessed there might be a "secret" room they couldn't access, according to the TikTok user.
In the caption, she wrote: "My mom broke her closet wall down and it turned out to be a whole new room that the people never finished."

The family reckoned that instead of finishing off the room, the owners had decided to block it off behind the wardrobe.
Since it was uploaded yesterday, November 24, the video has been "liked" more than 56,000 times and received hundreds of comments, although some people sounded skeptical.
One person asked: "Dd y'all never notice the window to nowhere?"
"How do you not notice a big space in your house?" asked a second viewer.
"Dang I wish my house was big enough to never notice a random chunk of room," joked another.
Meanwhile, some people reckoned it sounded like the start of a horror story.
"Anyone else thinking the old homeowners trapped a spirit in the room and built a wall to hide it and keep it in there?" suggested one.
A second wrote: "One time I went into one of those rooms in my house and now I have buttons for eyes and so does my mom and dad."
