It’s the popular annual racing festival that vintage fanatics eagerly wait for and this year revellers did not disappoint.
Vibrant festivalgoers took to the Goodwood Motor Circuit in Chichester to travel back in time to ‘good old days’ today.
Launched in 1998 to celebrate mid-20th century motorsport, the three-day event has remained virtually unchanged ever since, featuring wheel-to-wheel racing in classic cars surrounded by the fashion and feel of the 1940s, 50s and 60s.
From stylish updos to beehives, polka-dot aprons to air hostess dresses, and army uniforms to silk neckerchiefs, the revellers battled it for best dressed.
According to the Goodwood website: ‘At Revival we revisit a time when people would cherish their clothes, cars and special belongings for a lifetime of use.’

Among the events at the festival include talks with Mary Quant and Vogue Greece editor, Sarah Bailey and Amber Butchart.
Those interested in heirloom hunting will also be able to attend a talk with Salad Days Market and Micaela Sharp.
The festival goers braved the boiling 26-degree heat in Chichester, with some wearing full suits and police uniforms.
