THE Range has started selling a wooden Christmas Eve box for £7.99 – and parents are going wild for it.
The cute December 24 keepsake can be filled up with festive goodies to keep impatient kids entertained while they wait for Santa.
The side of the box is decorated with a red silhouette of Santa and his reindeer, along with a message that reads: "Do not open until Christmas Eve."
And on the top, there is space to write your child’s name in chalk.
Despite there still being three months to go until Christmas, parents are already getting excited about the boxes.
Posting on the Ways to Save Facebook group, one person said: “How cute are these?”
Another commented: “I want to get Max one for Christmas this year.”
A third said: “Better than getting cardboard ones every year.”
However, parents can save money by going for a cardboard version.
For example, Home Bargains is selling a similar-style Christmas Eve box for £3 and it includes cookies and a letter from Santa.
The Range's box – which measures 15cm by 20cm by 30cm – doesn't come with anything to put inside.
Sadly, the boxes are already sold out in The Range website – but you can set up an email alert for when they're available again.
The Range charges £3.95 for standard delivery and click and collect to your nearest store.
Shoppers can also try checking in store – use The Range online shop finder tool to see where your closest branch is.
We're checking if the Christmas Eve boxes are available nationwide.
Shops have already started selling Harry Potter and Star Wars Lego Christmas advent calendars.
It comes as Boots brings back popular 3for2 Christmas gifts after shaking up the scheme last year.
Meanwhile, Argos reveals top 12 toys for Christmas 2020 – but the cheapest is still £33.
