When it comes to feuds, Whitney Port tries to stand clear of any ill feelings people might have toward her.

Though she is getting ready to return to her reality television roots with the spin-off series The Hills: New Beginnings, Port has already found herself in not so good graces with fellow castmate, Spencer Pratt.

While speaking about the show on That’s So Retrograde podcast, Whitney Port opens up about where her relationship with Spencer and his wife, Heidi, currently stands.

The Pratts have Whitney blocked on social media

It’s been nine years since The Hills aired its finale episode.

Now, the beloved reality series is back with some of your OG favorites along with old and newfound drama.

While talking about the show’s spin-off, The Hills: New Beginnings on the  That’s So Retrograde podcast, Whitney Port shared some interesting details about the relationships between cast members.

Though she was excited to film with some of her close friends again, her relationship with Spencer and Heidi Pratt recently took an unexpected turn.

Port revealed on the podcast that she is currently not in contact with the Pratts and she’s still isn’t 100% sure what she did wrong.

“Honestly, I don’t even know if it’s going to make the show, but I think that I spoke up about something that I think they probably misunderstood,” Whitney explained. “After I said something to Heidi, she ran to Spencer and told him that I’m not on her side or I’m taking sides. So I get a text from Spencer being like ‘Delete my number.’”

While Whitney Port admitted to never having problems with Spencer Pratt in the past, the tv personality shared that she is scared to mention anything about him and his wife ever again.

“I’ve never had issues with him ever and I’m scared to even say anything about him. He did block me on social media, as did Heidi and told me to delete their numbers,” she shared. “At the time, I was shocked, then I got home that night and saw someone waiting in their car outside of my house thinking he sent someone to beat me up.”

Whitney knows how far Spencer and Heidi can take a feud

While Whitney Port was never afraid of Spencer Pratt before now, the reality star knows the kind of drama he starts just from watching the ongoing feud he still has with his sister, Stephanie.

The Pratt siblings have been feuding since the early days of The Hills and their relationship is far from repaired.

Whitney Port has called the entire feud really intense” and shared with E! News that filming in the middle of it wasn’t the easiest thing to do. 

“They have some deeply-rooted issues that I would love for them to work out, but I’m not sure they’re at the place themselves where they want to work it out yet,” she explained.

“There is this need or push to pick sides. They kind of want you to pick sides, but I’m really not that kind of person,” she said.

She continued, “I don’t know the situation enough or the issues they have enough in order to pick sides. I just think that it’s more grey than black and white with them.”

We can guess that Whitney’s comments about the feud did not sit well with Spencer and Heidi Pratt and the couple now wants nothing more to do with their fellow co-star.

Whitney Port doesn’t seem too fazed by Spencer and Heidi but is little worried this misunderstanding could become more than than what it started out to be.

With the couple’s track record, they are capable of taking a feud much further than it intended to be and hopefully, Whitney Port is able to stand clear of that.
