Celebrities may inspire us to dye our hair, wear certain outfits or do our makeup in a particular way but that doesn’t mean that they’re immune to being influenced either. As Megan Fox demonstrated when she “drank the blood” of fiancé Machine Gun Kelly, those in the public eye have a tendency to morph into their favourite celebs too.

So, whether it’s their ever-changing wardrobe choices or evolving music careers, here’s some of the familiar faces taking inspiration from their famous counterparts.

Megan Fox’s “celeb crush” on Angelina Jolie

When Megan Fox gave her fiancé Machine Gun Kelly a necklace made of her blood, fans were taken aback to say the least.

But this isn’t the first celebrity partnership to take on a gruesome element – fellow actress Angelina Jolie infamously wore a necklace made of her former husband Billy Bob Thornton’s blood.

Far from being a coincidence, Megan has spoken about her love for the Maleficent star, admitting: “If I could just be Angelina's girlfriend, I would be so happy. I love Angelina Jolie. She's someone I admire and look up to.”

Besides their vampiric sides, both Angelina and Megan share a love for tattoos and leather clothing.

Mick Jagger doppelgänger Harry Styles

With his Gucci suits, catchy riffs and endless amounts of charisma, the similarities between Harry Styles and The Rolling Stones’ Mick Jagger are uncanny.

Despite being separated by half a century, the parallels haven’t gone unnoticed by the parties involved either. In 2018, the 27 year old appeared on SNL and impersonated the rock legend during a hilarious skit, joking that “why would anyone in a successful band go solo?”

Speaking of the former One Direction star, Mick said: “He’s got it going on. I can see the influence. But I don’t say anything to him, I just tell him he looks nice. I like him.”

Justin Bieber superfan Billie Eilish

Billie Eilish’s life may be extremely different to the typical 20 year old, but it turns out that she spent her teens fangirling over teenage heartthrobs just like the rest of us.

Getting candid about her Justin Bieber crush on the me & dad podcast, she revealed that: “I would watch the music video for this song and just sob.”

“I just want to say, we did consider taking you to therapy because you were in so much pain over Justin Bieber,” her mum added.

Having first met Justin at Coachella in 2019, Billie has taken notes from the Canadian singer, copying his blonde hair, baggy clothing and love for tattoos.

Marilyn Monroe clone Courtney Stodden

With their bleached hair, red lipstick and classic style, Courtney Hodden has become particularly Monroe-esque over the years, even getting a tattoo to honour the pinup star.

But physical similarities aside, the parallels between the stars are more than surface level – Courtney made headlines when she married actor Doug Hutchinson when she was just 16, whereas Marilyn tied the knot to James Dougherty when she was the same age.

Kim Kardashian replica Julia Fox

After Kanye West stepped out with his new partner Julia Fox, fans have been quick to point out the similarities between Julia and his estrange wife Kim Kardashian.

Given that Kim’s style can be divided into two different eras: pre-Kanye and post-Kanye, it’s no surprise that the rapper’s new girlfriend has been showing off her Kanye influence too, wearing a series of tight-fitting outfits.

During a conversation with the Interview Magazine, the Uncut Gems star revealed that the 44 year old had surprised her with piles of new clothes on their second date.

“Ye had an entire hotel suite full of clothes. It was every girl’s dream come true. It felt like a real Cinderella moment,” Julia gushed.

Adele taking tips from Beyonce

Ever since Adele’s album 25 beat Beyonce’s Lemonade to win a Grammy in 2017, the British singer songwriter has been vocal about her love for Queen B.

And though the singers may be worlds apart in terms of their music, it seems as though Adele has been taking inspiration from the US superstar on her new album.

Surprising fans, Adele featured a series of conversations between her and her son Angelo on track My Little Love, something we’re used to in B’s work as she’s featured eldest daughter Blue Ivy on several tracks in the past.
