Stacey Solomon looks like she’s had quite the family day out today.

The Loose Women star has been busy decorating her daughter’s nursery, but she took a break to head out with her boys.

Detailing her day to her legion of Instagram fans, the 31 year old star began with a trip to IKEA, and she shared a look at an excited Rex sitting in the trolley.

“Wahoo mum’s summer holidays have begun [laughing emoji] I’ve missed ya, you big yellow and blue house of joy,” Stacey penned to her fans.

Inside, Stacey was straight to the fejka aisle and she shared a peek all of the beautiful blooms inside IKEA while getting excited about a flower wall.

“Picked up a couple of things to make for the pink pickles room, but after seeing this display I want to make a flower wall,” Stacey told her followers as she panned in on a stunning display of blooms.

Stacey and Joe also took the kids to the mall where they played on some dinosaurs, and Stacey explained: “We came here because Leighton wanted his ears pierced for soooo long.

“So we thought summer holidays would be the time to do it… Then Joe, inspired by Leighton decided he should get one. Honestly I’ve never seen anything like it, the drama.”

Stacey wasn’t wrong. Sharing a hilarious video of her fiancé Joe Swash getting his ears pierced, the star could be seen flinching every time the earring was due to be put in his ear.

Joe could be seen rubbing his hands together and swerving the lady about to pierce it, each time she attempted to.

On the other hand, Leighton looked cool, calm and collected as he got his ear pierced and Stacey could’t stop laughing.

“Omg sorry this took so long it was 25 minutes of waiting for Joe to get it done [laughing emoji] sorry to all of the little ones waiting patiently in the queue behind him.

“Leighton done in 30 seconds not a flinch, Joe on the other hand. Honestly the poor woman couldn’t get near those lobes… In the end we all lost it with him.”

Stacey added: “Until finally she went for it. G-D love her, but omg I can’t stop laughing now because we are home and he hates it.”

Stacey and Joe’s fun day out with the brood comes after it was revealed they’ve got a new wedding date in the diary after postponing the big day.

Stacey has been engaged to I'm A Celebrity star Joe Swash since December last year.

Loved-up pair Stacey and Joe had originally planned to wed this summer, but following the happy news they're expecting a second child together, they pushed the date back.

During her recent do however, Stacey revealed a potential date she’d be getting married and sharing a photo with slippers on penned: “I’ll be living in these slippers every day until next July I’m in love."

The couple are currently awaiting the arrival of their second child, whom they recently announced is a baby girl.
