Shocking video captures a man being catapulted into the air as he his hit by a car on a busy road in an alleged road rage incident.
The dramatic CCTV footage shows the man pulling over and confronting the driver of the car behind him before he is sent flying.
As the driver reverses, the man pursues the vehicle until it suddenly stops, drives forward and ploughs into him.
After being thrown into the air, the man, who appears to be injured, gets up and chases the car, which slams into another car before driving off.
The alleged hit-and-run is believed to have happened on Thursday last week at around 6:25pm in Dewsbury, West Yorkshire.
Asa Llewellyn, who posted the video on Facebook , wrote: "Forge lane, Dewsbury, not sure what had gone on but bet it didn't end well."
The video has since gone viral on social media.
The CCTV footage shows one driver dramatically overtake another car and brake right in front of them.
The driver of the overtaking car then gets out of his vehicle and starts bounding towards the blue car.
The blue car reverses to try and escape the angry driver, but he runs after it and repeatedly punches the bonnet.
The blue car driver tries to drive away and in doing so hits the man, knocking him to the floor.
The driver then tries to weave their way through the stagnant traffic and crashes into a car in front of them, causing the blue car to lift in the air upon impact.
The man starts chasing the blue car which has been damaged in the crash.
However, the blue car drives away from the scene visibly damaged by the collision.
The video has been viewed more than 65,000 times.
One viewer wrote: "The only one to come out bad from that is the poor b** minding their own business, always the same."
Another viewer added: "Shouldn't have cut them off! Plus probably didn't like being beeped at! Seems like he was being a bully! None of them should be on the road to be fair."
A spokeswoman for West Yorkshire Police said there were no reports to the force about an alleged road rage or hit-and-run incident in Dewsbury.
