The Stanford University student, 19, took to Instagram on Thursday to post a photo of herself modeling a white bikini while blasting the potential overturn of Roe v. Wade — the 1973 case that made abortion legal at the federal level.
‘I’m not shy about my body and/or telling you to keep your bans off of it,’ she captioned her post, which also included information about which states will swiftly ban abortion if the landmark ruling is repealed.

The Stanford University student also posted the photo on Instagram Stories while sharing her thoughts on bodily autonomy
‘Every person deserves access to sexual and reproductive health care,’ she continued. ‘Right now, the Supreme Court is prepared to end the constitutional right to abortion. Join me and the fashion community to send a clear message.’
Phoebe, who is the youngest of Gates’ three children with his ex-wife Melinda French Gates, tagged Planned Parenthood and added the hashtag #BansOffOurBodies.
In the photo, she is wearing a string halter bikini while leaning against a wall with her hands behind her back. Her dark hair is loose around her shoulders, and she is looking at the camera with a piercing gaze.
The words ‘my body, my choice’ were written in white and pink on the bottom left side of the snapshot.
Thousands of people liked the post, including her 26-year-old sister, Jennifer Gates. The sisters also have a 23-year-old brother, Rory.
‘Yessss P,’ Jennifer wrote in the comments.
Olympic freestyle skier and model Eileen Gu responded with two exclamation points, while climate change activist and fellow Stanford University student Sophia Kianni added, ‘Bodyodyodyyyyy.’
Phoebe also shared the image on her Instagram Stories, writing, ‘What’s up — I’m here to say that bodily autonomy is a human right. Did you know that 50% of all women are denied bodily autonomy?’
The next slide, which was featured in her post, was a graphic from BansOff.org showing which 26 states will move to ban abortion if Roe v. Wade is overturned.
‘Now that I have your attention…THIS!’ she added.
Hundreds of people commented on her post, including her older sister, Jennifer Gates, and Olympic freestyle skier Eileen Gu
The following graphic offered information on how people combat the potential ban, including donating to abortion funds and supporting a local Planned Parenthood.
Phoebe concluded her Instagram Stories with a second bikini photo, writing, ‘Thanks for stopping by, later.’
A full repeal of Roe v. Wade is anticipated when the U.S. Supreme Court issues its opinions for the term at the end of June.
Nationwide chaos ensued in early May after Politico published a leaked copy of a draft opinion showing the 6-3 conservative court overturning the 49-year-old landmark abortion ruling.
If Roe v. Wade is overturned, the issue of abortion will be sent back to the states. There are 26 states that will likely move to ban abortion if the decision is repealed.

Phoebe’s shoulder-length dark hair was straightened and tucked behind her ears, revealing her dangly gemstone earrings, but that wasn’t her only bling.
The billionaire’s daughter also had two strands of diamonds draped around her neck and a diamond ring. She topped off her look with dramatic winged eyeliner and a more demure nude lip.
