Fans are stunned with how actor Chris Pratt has evolved over the years from controversial figure to religious family man.

His followers are having a bit of a hard time reconciling the old Chris Pratt with the one that now regularly quotes biblical scriptures during interviews.
On Monday, he told Page Six that he isn’t bothered by the haters who criticize his views of Christianity and Jesus.
‘But that’s nothing new, that’s nothing new, you know?,’ he said.
Further stating, ‘That’s the way it is, nothing new, 2,000 years ago they hated him [Jesus] too.’

And, then Pratt begins to recite a passage from the bible.
‘If I was of this world, they would love me just like that but as it is, I’ve chosen out of this world. That’s John 15:18 through 20.’
The actors faith has come under scrutiny over the years. He attended the Zoe Church, linked to controversial Hillsong Pastor, that had a reputation for being anti-LGBTQ.

Pratt is probably best known for playing the role of Andy Dwyer in the NBC sitcom Parks and Recreation.
He was initially supposed to play the part for six-episodes but the dim-witted but lovable character became so popular it helped propel his movie career, as he went on to star in big box office hits including movies in the Marvel the Cinematic Universe and the Jurassic Park franchise.
He also played supporting roles in the films, Wanted, Jennifer’s Body, Moneyball, Zero Dark Thirty, among others.
During his career highs, his personal life took a hit when he divorced his then wife Anna Faris, whom he was married to from 2009 to 2018 and share a 10-year-old son with named Jack.
In 2019, he married 33-year-old author, Katherine Schwarzenneger, the daughter of legendary actor, Arnold Schwarzenegger.
The couple share two daughters. Lyla who they welcomed in 2020 and Eloise in 2022.
The couple looked blissfully happy as they attended theduring the North American premiere of Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3 in Hollywood in April.
Pratt also appeared on the Drew Barrymore Show last month with his wife as she spoke about her new book, The Gift of Forgiveness.
The actor shared with the host how his life was ‘broken’ before he me Schwarzenegger.
He shared how he was smitten when he first saw Schwarzeneggger called her the ‘woman of my dreams,’ who he first saw in church.
‘There was a moment in my life where I was really struggling and felt really broken, ;p he said.
‘For me, my own journey of finding a higher power and leaning on that and feeling like, ‘Please save me,’ and feeling saved.’
‘And shortly later, meeting the woman of my dreams. It’s all about timing. There’s a perfect plan out there for you,’ he said, in part. ‘You have to have faith.’
