Olivia Buckland and Alex Bowen have almost completed another room in their brand new home, as the couple unveiled their brand new sofa.

The enormous grey centrepiece, which looks extremely cosy, sits in their living room on top of their new matching carpets they just had installed.

Previously the living room had dark blue carpets and a white leather sofa when they bought the property, and the couple were quick to swap it all out with their new furniture so they could put their own stamp on their abode.

The couple, who met on Love Island and married in 2018, have been keeping their followers updated with their home makeover journey giving sneak peeks of the property that they just moved into recently.

Olivia posted the snap of the room which just had the carpets fitted saying how nicely the room was "coming along".

She explained how their custom U-shaped sofa from Sofology was made of different sections and then fitted together, and decorated with a darker colour cushions.

Adding that the carpet was "part gifted" by a local company Olivia wrote: "We decided to get the carpet done before painting because the blue carpet held smoke & we didn’t wanna live on bare floor.

"It’ll be covered fully when we decorate. Can’t wait to furnish this room! What colour should we paint the walls?! Or wallpaper?!"

The followers of 'The Bowen Home' Instagram page gushed over how beautiful they thought the room looked, with one saying: "That looks stunning! What an amazing space."

Another wrote in the comments: "It is going to look amazing when finished, loving the sofa and carpet."

Others offered their advice on what the reality stars should do for the walls: "I think a patterned grey and white wall paper would look nice! X"

"I think a textured wallpaper but in one solid colour to add warmth and depth to such a big room," added one fan.

The couple moved into the dreamy home recently and have already shared glimpses of the grand staircase, games room and a very romantic balcony, and beauty-obsessed Olivia also showed off snaps of her new dressing room and large wardrobes.

Olivia admitted they've taken on a big challenge with their second home and have big plans for the interiors.

And she gave a peek inside one of the bedrooms in the property that's all ready to sleep in, but is planning on transforming their master suite with white and pink hints.
